About Land Racing
Our History
Competitive logging has been an enjoyed family tradition for over three generations. Starting in 1981 with the first competitive event in Payson, Arizona. Land Racing has since branched out across the Western United States, competing in both sponsored and local events. This has allowed Land Racing to compete and build lasting relationships.
What is competitive logging?
Competitive logging with chainsaws and manual saws involves timed events where participants showcase their skills in precision, speed, and technique. The competitions may include tasks such as the axe throw, crosscut, and felling. It's a challenging and thrilling way for professionals to demonstrate their expertise in the use of chainsaws in a competitive setting.

With Land Racing, our mission is to bring people together to enjoy a timeless hobby, experience a show unlike anything they have ever experienced, and maybe even try their hand at a category or two.
